Vital Nexus Net: Prácticas para el desarrollo del Ser

DIRECTOR:
Gonzalo Barales

Gonzalo Ezequiel Barales is a movement artist, teacher and researcher who dedicates his life to share and create ways of improving our relation with ourselves, with the world around us and with others. He works combining philosophy, movement and nature observation to expand the way we perceive ourselves and reality.

Main Focuses

The practices he creates have four main focuses:

  1. Improving our health and wellbeing.

  2. Empowering ourselves, rising confidence and increasing our possibilities of movement.

  3. Developing acceptance, Self Knowledge and the ability to Feel, Choose and Create at any moment.

  4. Refining the way we relate and vinculate with ourselves and others to allow us to engage in a more respectful, playful and joyful sharing, dancing and being.

Knowledge and Inspiration

He combines all the knowledge that he has acquired and developed along his 22 years of career studying and practicing movement.

The main movement disciplines he combines for this project are: Qi Gong, Tai Ji Quan, Kung Fu, Yoga, Contemporary Dance, Soft Acrobatics and Contact Improvisation.

He also uses philosophy concepts inspired from Taoism, Stoicism, Buddhism and Vedanta to get a deeper and more integrated state of presence.

And last but not least, he also uses information from sciences, like Biology, Math, Anatomy, Chemistry and Physics to interconnect and integrate even more our mind and body with nature.

Knowledge at our Service

In his way of understanding life, everything is connected and each knowledge area can offer us different tools that we can use to grow and empower our personal process, needs and desires.

He understands that it is more important to have the tools and the knowledge at our service, being able to modify or adapt them so we can use them to build what we need in us than to try to modify ourselves to “fit” inside the knowledge, tool or discipline
